AutoPark Honda has an outstanding opportunity for a Cashier to join their team and the Holman Family!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience in administrative services or related fields
  • Knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education, certifications, or experience are a plus
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required

Responsibilities

  • Calculate the total cost of services rendered or products purchased by customers.
  • Accept cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers for services rendered or products purchased.
  • Accurately record the amount received from each customer and maintain proper documentation.
  • Make change for customers as needed and issue receipts for payments received.
  • Handle returns of merchandise or issue credit memorandums to customers as directed by managers.
  • Respond to incoming service calls from customers and address their inquiries or transfer them to the appropriate department.
  • Make or change customer appointments for service as necessary.
  • Scan paper copies of closed repair orders into the Dealership Management System (DMS) for record-keeping purposes.
  • Notify customers when they are due or past due for scheduled service appointments.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
