About The Position

As of November 1, 2025, Sunoco LP has successfully completed its acquisition of Parkland Corporation. This position is located at 101 Santa Fe Ave, Bismarck, and is for the afternoon shift, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, with weekends on rotation. Shifts may change with store needs, and flexibility is preferred. Next-day pay is available with PayActiv. The Sales Associate serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and accurately processing fuel and merchandise sales. This role ensures shelves are stocked, products are readily available, and operations are efficient, following company policies to support store profitability.

Requirements

Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment
A basic knowledge of food safety standards
Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
Incredible customer service skills and the ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture
The physical ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
Ability to stand for long hours

Responsibilities

Ensure top-notch customer experiences every time
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store
Prepare food and drinks while meeting health standards
Handle cash, funds, and products responsibly
Prepare shift-change reports at the completion of shifts by closing and balancing out the cash register
Check customers’ IDs for restricted items; follow all regulations
Assist with tasks as needed to keep the store running smoothly
Handle a variety of customer interactions and adjust sales strategies as needed to increase profitability
