About The Position

The Cashier provides efficient, accurate, timely, and courteous cashiering services to all age groups of customers. Minimum of 20 hours weekly to include rotating weekends The Cashier demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn new tasks and help other in the work area. If functioning as a cashier in the Pharmacy, underage customers must be accompanied by an adult in order to receive medication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service related position
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to work independently performing cashier functions.
• Depending on unit assignment, must be available to work additional hours, varying shifts, weekends and holidays as determined by supervisor.
• Physical Lifting 20-50 lbs.
• Activities: Prolonged standing, Prolonged sitting, Frequent bending, Walking (distance), Climbing (steps, ladder, other), Reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive), Repetitive motion
• Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Hearing, Speak clearly, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinking
• Emotional: Fast pace environment, Steady pace, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Noisy environment, Able to adapt to frequent change
