The cashier is the central point of contact for guests, guiding them through our food and beverage menus, sharing knowledge of the type of food we create, and ensuring every transaction is handled with accuracy and care. From managing cash and card payments to coordinating orders with the kitchen and keeping the front counter organized, you’ll help ensure service flows smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people while staying organized and focused. We are currently looking to hire for our upcoming dinner service with shifts starting after 3pm. Full time and part time positions available. Hourly rate + tips. Overview The Cashier is responsible for providing accurate, efficient, and friendly service while managing all point-of-sale transactions at The Buttery. This person has strong knowledge of our food and beverage menu, especially made-to-order items, and confidently guides guests through the ordering process. They ensure orders are entered correctly, payments are processed accurately, and communication between the front-of-house and kitchen remains clear and timely. The Cashier maintains an organized and welcoming counter area, supports overall front-of-house operations, and serves as a brand ambassador of The Buttery to ensure an exceptional guest experience and a positive team environment.
