About The Position

T he Cashier (Union) utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event driven schedule including nights and weekends per business needs. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00 and is tip eligible (per CBA). Benefits as per the union agreement. This position will remain open until June 26, 2026.

Requirements

Must be 21 or over.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to obtain or Possess valid SNHD food handling card, Alcohol Awareness or equivalent
Ability to learn to operate a register and corresponding system.
Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
Ability to work a flexible schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on the event schedules and business needs.
This role may involve performing physical labor and operational tasks in outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions.
The position requires adaptability, endurance, and a commitment to safety while working in both high-heat and cold-weather settings.

Responsibilities

Conduct the cash register sales by entering the orders and completing the transaction.
Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels, and communicating to the Concessions Stand Manger of low stock items.
Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly.
Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
