About The Position
Food City is seeking a dedicated and efficient cashier to provide excellent customer service at all times. The cashier will be responsible for scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policy, ensuring that all items are credited to the correct department and that the work station remains neat and clean. The role includes handling transactions accurately, assisting with bagging groceries, and maintaining compliance with state and federal laws regarding sales and handling procedures. The cashier will also be involved in light stocking duties and ensuring the cleanliness of the store environment.
