About The Position
As a Cashier/Self Checkout Associate at our Newton, MA location, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers at the checkout, providing them with a fast and friendly service that aligns with our Brand Promises. You will engage with customers to help them locate products, answer their questions, and provide solutions to enhance their shopping experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security during transactions. In this role, you will also promote our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting customers with enrollments and educating them about the benefits. You will participate in various Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), ensuring that customers receive their orders efficiently. Your duties will extend to truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining merchandise recovery standards throughout the store, ensuring that the store is well-merchandised and in-stock at all times. You will be expected to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Interacting with customers and team members in a respectful and positive manner is essential, as you will serve as a role model for other team members. Additionally, you may be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, allowing you to assist in various areas of the store as needed. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support store operations.
