About The Position
Cashier / Self-Check Attendant We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier / Self-Check Attendant to join our retail team. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases - Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately - Support customers in using self-checkout stations and troubleshoot any issues - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services - Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to operate electronic cash registers and POS systems - Basic math skills and attention to detail - Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends 19 or older preferred due to selling alcohol.
