About The Position

You will assist customers with retail sales transactions and services. You will report to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Prior retail cashier experience
• Good customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of mathematics

Responsibilities

• You will greet and assist customers.
• Stock and price items and arrange displays.
• Ring up customers and verify customer identification when needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop and storage areas.
• You will maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms and transaction reconciliations.
• Make bank deposits.
• Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
• Maintain security according to departmental procedures to protect from theft and damage.
• Perform merchandise inventory and re-order when needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
