About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Nutrition Services Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service while accurately handling transactions and supporting daily food service operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring a positive dining experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

  • Operate cash register and process customer transactions accurately
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier and dining areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with food service operations as needed
  • Handle cash, credit, and meal plan payments according to policy
