About The Position

Summary/Objective: Responsible for creating warm and inviting service experience by receiving payment in the form of cash, checks, and credit cards from customers and/or employees in exchange for goods or services. Essential Functions Primary accountability is to ensure the guest experience is optimal. Greets guest in a courteous and professional manner, utilizing company standardized greeting and by name when possible. Counts currency and give accurate change back to customers. Demonstrates accuracy, integrity and excellent customer service at all times. Operates cash register, computerized system with full knowledge of proper procedures. Receives payment from guest and/or employees; makes change as needed; issues receipts. Verifies customer ID when accepting credit cards. Verifies all bills larger than $10.00 to ensure they are not counterfeit. Reconciles cash register tape with cash and receipts on hand at end of shift. Must have full knowledge of products sold. Takes and reads guest's vegetable order. Keeps order together as it progresses through the line. Maintains consistent portion control. Full knowledge of all relevant health code regulations. Demonstrates ability to utilize company abbreviations and lingo pertaining to guest orders. Maintains line presentation and cleanliness of counters. Possess full knowledge of Guest SOP and demonstrates execution of procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.
