About The Position

Must be able to handle all cash, credit cards, and other forms of payments and transactions for all food, rentals, merchandise and entry fees for Lake Monocan. Monitoring access to the lake by checking for appropriate Wintergreen Passes, while being knowledgeable of all Wintergreen issued passes and general public options for entry. Keep all food service areas clean and stocked for the day and the next day. At the end of each day complete a deposit of all transactions and money collected from the day’s sales. Complete opening and closing checklists. Be willing and able to help guest with rental boats and other guest needs. Follow all operating standards. Must help maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the Lake property.

Requirements

• Basic record-keeping and report-writing.
• Superior customer service skills required.
• Ability to handle a cash drawer of more than $200 plus receipts and do a daily deposit correctly and efficiently.
• Ability to answer all questions and take messages over the phone from guests and other resort personnel.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet quests in a friendly manner
• Report to work on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Must be in uniform at all times.
• Follow all opening, closing and daily operating procedures.
• Maintain a cash drawer of $200 or more.
• Keep work area, restrooms, and park neat and clean.
• Must follow policies and procedures outlined in the Wintergreen Handbook.
• Needs to be able to take on additional tasks and assignments assigned by the Lake Supervisor and Manager.
