About The Position

Opening in September 2025, a new, multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility, will offer a wide range of adult and pediatric specialty care services, all under one roof. Located at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, the center will be led by trusted Columbia doctors and will set a new standard for superior patient experience, convenience, and quality care. The position of Cashier in Food and Nutrition is a full-time role with day and evening shifts. As a valued member of the team, you will provide essential support and superior customer service to our patients and their families, maintaining a culture of compassion, caring, and safety to ensure a positive experience for every patient, every time.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to operate cash register, make changes, and read price lists.
• Follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with food handling
• Prior experience in an institutional setting
• Service Safe Certificate

Responsibilities

• Perform duties involving customer interaction, cash collecting, and daily balancing of the cash drawer.
• Assist with the cafeteria set up, customer service, and general cleaning.
