About The Position

Our automotive business is growing, and Outten Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Hamburg is seeking additional cashier and customer service employees to assist our clients. Although experience in a similar customer service or office role in preferred, we are willing to train the perfect candidate. If you are comfortable taking and transferring calls, processing payments, and interacting pleasantly with customers in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to speak with you about joining our team.

Requirements

• Customer service experienced preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Comfortable answering the phone and operating a busy switchboard
• Pleasant demeanor on the phone and in person
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license required
• Clean driving record and comfort driving a variety of cars and light trucks
• The desire to build a career in a progressive, growing company

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist showroom and service customers, referring them to the correct staff member
• Operate busy switchboard, answer incoming calls, efficiently transfer callers to appropriate personnel, take messages, and use paging system
• Process payment (checks, cash, and credit cards) for service, sales, and parts clients
• Assist Office Manager when needed in basic filling duties or computer work
• Hour would be 10:30-7 Monday - Friday and if working a Saturday you would have 1 day off during the week
