About The Position

Do you love the aroma of fresh coffee and the buzz of a friendly café? BHCC is looking for a Cashier/Customer Service superstar to join our team and help create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the counter—greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and making sure every experience is personal and excellent.

Requirements

• Previous customer service or cashier experience is a plus—but not required
• Friendly, upbeat personality and great communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced café setting
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Passion for coffee, food, and great service

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the register and handle payments (cash, card, digital) with care
• Answer questions about the menu and make thoughtful suggestions
• Keep the front counter, dining area, and condiment station clean and stocked
• Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy periods
• Assist with light food prep or drink handoff as needed
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally
