About The Position

At Didion Orf Recycling Inc., we are Doing What is Right for a Better Tomorrow by recycling metal scrap and electronics. Our team lives by Four Core Values. We are Personable, Tenacious, Innovative and focused on Selfless Service. We are currently seeking to hire a Cashier for our customer drop off area who possesses our same values. This is a fast-paced position. The right candidate must enjoy multi-tasking, being busy and helping people. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:15 pm and some Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Works well with a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform basic math quickly
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Greet customers
• Process sales transactions and payments
• Maintain cash drawer and paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist with unloading, moving and weighing materials
