About The Position

This part-time role involves being the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will engage with customers and promote our products, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

  • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in retail math for accurate pricing and transaction processing.
  • Experience with cash registers and POS systems is preferred.
  • Excellent basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Previous experience in retail sales is an advantage.
  • Ability to supervise and guide team members as needed.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
  • Operate the cash register and accurately process transactions using the POS system.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively upsell products.
  • Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and discounts.
  • Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store presentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
