About The Position

Our franchise organization, BOTH Inc Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly CASHIERS to join our team! This position involves interacting with guests during their entry and exit, which are critical moments in their experience. The Cashier / Host / Curbside Assistant plays a vital role in creating lasting impressions that dictate whether guests will return. The role includes greeting guests, processing orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements

• Energetic and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for 3 to 4 hours without a rest break.
• Regular moderate lifting and carrying (1-35 lbs.).
• Bending and reaching as required.
• Ability to use tools such as cash register, drink dispenser, and glasses.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a sincere, personal invitation to return as the guests leave.
• Offers assistance to guests who may need help, including seating guests at peak times.
• Processes internet and phone food orders for curbside pickup.
• Processes To-Go orders for guests who come into select their own food from the buffet.
• Friendly and courteous on the phone.
• Handles payments accurately.
• Knows and follows position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
• Knows what is on buffet for the day and has a full knowledge of menu and prices.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station and surrounding areas.
• May help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct. Cleans all buffets and surrounding areas.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant when necessary.
• Follows local health department laws.
• Performs duty roster and ensures cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
• Informs the Manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery.
• Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork.
