As a Cajera (Cashier), you are the face of Felipe’s and a key part of the guest experience. You’ll deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service while helping keep the burrito line moving smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and takes pride in great hospitality.
Requirements
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Passion for guest service and teamwork
- Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solver who knows when to involve the Manager on Duty
- Knowledge of food safety (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide outstanding customer service
- Suggest add-ons like chips, guac, drinks, and desserts
- Answer menu questions (ingredients, pricing, portions, dietary options)
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Maintain an accurate, organized cash drawer
- Portion items such as chips, guac, salsa, and dressings
- Keep the Cajera station clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Communicate with Burreros and kitchen team to support line flow
- Assist guests with questions about Felipe’s, including catering and events
- Follow all safe food handling procedures
