About The Position

The Cashier - Cage position at Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino involves controlling and accounting for transactions at the cage windows, main bank, chip bank, and check bank. The role requires performing high volume cash and non-cash transactions for guests and internal customers in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner. The position is under the direction of the Cage Operations Manager and includes responsibilities such as balancing and issuing impress bank to team members, entering patron transactions into the company computer system, preparing paperwork and balancing sheets, and participating in daily cage reconciliation processes. The work environment may expose employees to casino-related factors such as second-hand smoke and excessive noise, and requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the impress bank issued and perform guest and in-house monetary transactions.
  • Balance and issue impress bank to team members.
  • Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
  • Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents in accordance with Standards and Procedures (S&P's) and Internal Controls.
  • Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cages and/or departments accurately and efficiently.
  • Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures to maintain integrity of the Cage operation.
  • Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process.
  • Comply with Federal Title 31 procedures.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
