Cashier Cage TD
About The Position
Responsibility: It is the primary responsibility of the Cage Cashier to process monetary transactions and exchanges with guests. Provide high quality customer services to guests of Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino. Performs, but not limited to the following functions. Perform frontline entry level transactions, chip bank transactions, poker transactions, cage credit transactions and team members bank/window transactions. Cash all types of checks for guest within the specified guidelines; redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out. Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately, complete transaction logs manually, when necessary. Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets. Assist guest with general information upon request. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of relationships between banks, especially front windows and main, chip and marker banks.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge or Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine.
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance a bank without assistance (locating errors when out of balance).
- Knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
- Experience in fast paced customer service.
- Experience with Title 31 reporting.
