About The Position

The Casino Cashier at Hard Rock International is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while handling all cash service needs for casino guests. This role involves performing various transactions, maintaining accountability for cash inventory, and ensuring compliance with company and gaming regulations. The position requires a friendly disposition, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• One year of previous United States currency money handling work experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without the use of a calculator.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a casino environment is a plus.
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cash service needs for casino guests, including chip and token redemption, check cashing, and credit card cash advances.
• Deliver prompt, friendly, and courteous service while following company and gaming regulations.
• Conduct all transactions in a confidential manner and maintain appropriate accountability for inventory.
• Count money and chips, reconcile banks, and order currency to refill supplies.
• Process funds transactions for the cashiering department and other casino personnel under surveillance.
• Record information regarding transactions on reports and forms, maintaining internal controls with reports describing errors and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with work-group and support departments to ensure player satisfaction and communicate relevant information to co-workers and management.
• Perform banker duties including conducting and verifying Table Fills/Credits, Chip Transfers, and maintaining accurate inventories in various banks.
