This position under the supervision of the Food Production Coordinator is responsible for the set up and service of food for the employees and visitors in the cafeteria and the meeting grooms in accordance with food safety regulations. This position is responsible for operating cash register and reconciling cash at the end of the shift. The catering functions that are required include setting up beverage carts, meeting room meals and the tear down of those events. Aptitudes : Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change. Ability to easily interact and meet with people. Talent for getting events set up attractively and efficiently. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE : Cashier experience with the counting of change is required. The knowledge of food safety regulations during at least six months experience in a food service setting. EDUCATION : Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to follow instructions and make change. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY : None.
