Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED is required.
  • 2 years money handling experience, 1 year cage experience a plus.
  • A proven proficiency with computers, with some knowledge of computer keyboard, is required.
  • Must be able to enter data, read, and interpret output from a computer.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be willing to learn all phases of Cage activity.
  • Must have good math skills.
  • Must have excellent guest and human relations skills.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must read write and speak English.
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate equipment
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing but not limited to second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to rack and stack chips.
  • Must be able to learn and follow strictly Title 31and other gaming regulations.
  • Ability to work from standing position for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity in hands and fingers.
  • Ability to perform reaching motions repeatedly, visual and auditory abilities.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math equations.
  • Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguards company assets.
  • Adheres to compliance of all Gaming regulations and any other governing agencies where applicable.
  • Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.
  • Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner.
  • Creates teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions.
  • Balances all money transactions and paperwork.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
