This cross-functional position plays a vital role in providing production support across multiple groups within Operations Services and the enterprise as a whole. The role involves executing a variety of routine tasks within various operational systems and requires interaction with multiple internal partners. Responsibilities may include transaction processing, data entry, archiving, research, machine troubleshooting, and vendor/client communication via phone or email. Employees in this position may have direct contact with third-party vendors and external customers, necessitating a strong commitment to customer service and effective communication skills. The position also involves researching exceptions and escalating issues to management as necessary. There may be opportunities to recommend and implement processing improvements within production. Specific duties may include processing Commercial Cash Vault transactions, which involves filling cash orders and accepting and verifying large volume deposits, including currency, coin, and checks. This may require operating high-speed equipment such as currency scanners, currency sorters, coin sorters, and check encoders. The role may also require physical demands such as moving trays and carts of work, standing or sitting for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
