We are adding to several departments in accounting with our anticipated growth. Are you ready to take on a new challenge? We are hiring a challenge-seeking a Staff Accountant who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in discovering the right solutions. A team player who enjoys working alongside their colleagues in fast paced environment where the time flies because every day is a busy one. Sound like you? Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 1-2+ two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with monthly, quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, specifically cash reconciliations.
  • Experience conducting variance analysis.
  • Experience conducting actual to budget/forecast analysis.
  • Experience recording monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, etc.
  • Proficient financial system skills with an emphasis on Excel, SmartView
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Nimble problem solver who enjoys complex challenges.
  • Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Financials and Blackline experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy of corporate financial records and reports for assigned duties.
  • Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close process.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly balance sheet reconciliations for cash accounts.
  • Provide related variance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Collaborating among departments to share accounting data and improve efficiencies.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and distributing financial reports.
  • Preparing roll-forwards and financial analysis.
  • This is an in-office opportunity.

  • Expected pay range of $65,000 - $80,000 base salary plus annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
