About The Position

The Cash & Securities Management Consultant plays a crucial role in the Investment Operations organization, overseeing transaction processing and managing the lifecycle of invested assets and portfolios. This position involves onboarding new managers, relationship management, customer support, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the financial services sector in a similar investment operations capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in back-office securities operations or similar roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP and banking/treasury operations.
• Ability to problem solve and resolve issues independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships.
• Awareness of risk and controls in operations.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns and trends in data.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reconciliation of cash to receivables/payables.
• Familiarity with investment operations best practices.

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee transactions related to invested assets and portfolios.
• Assist in onboarding new managers and investment types.
• Manage relationships with vendors, banks, and investment managers.
• Calculate forecasts and validate available funds for investing.
• Perform reconciliations, including exception oversight and resolution.
• Triage and prioritize scheduled work and ad-hoc requests.
• Maintain and improve workflows and procedures as needed.
• Reconcile general ledger suspense lines on a daily and monthly basis.
