About The Position

The Cash Office Responsible is tasked with overseeing the cash office and sales floor administration of the store. This role involves training and supporting the store team to ensure they are proficient in cash handling, banking, and administrative procedures. The position also requires collaboration with the in-store management team to enhance customer and colleague experiences on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for opening & closing procedures of all cash desks.
  • Examine all cash differences and follow up with in-store staff, management, and loss prevention.
  • Responsible for account reconciliation - daily verification / correction of all monetary accounts.
  • Handle & ensure all money handling routines, such as money transport and ordering change money.
  • Complete EOD (end of day) report.
  • Responsible for all security/related routines in line with H&M guidelines.
  • Review, carry out and correct hour/payroll calculations of employees in the store.
  • Verify reduction and garment transfer routines to correct booking.
  • Verify and complete damages.
  • Order and ensure office and cash point supplies.
  • Ensure Cash Office space is well organized, tidy and set up to best practices.
  • Ensure the store's compliance with all cash office routines for store audit.
  • Support employees concerning technical problems and follow up with IT/Business Tech.
  • Ensure correct key handling and documentation in line with H&M guidelines.
  • Work with Staff Planner in line with H&M guidelines.
  • Train and follow up with colleagues in-store on check out & cash point procedures.
  • Communicate all relevant changes of cash office, store routines & policies to store team.
  • Handle all internal and security-related information confidentially.
  • Onboard, upskill & develop your team.
  • Retain and share knowledge and skills with your team.
  • Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in relation to the Cash Office are followed.
  • Participate in relevant onboarding & introduction processes, trainings and courses.
  • Support the store leadership team and store colleagues on the sales floor.
  • Follow up and ensure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house.
  • Ensure the full garment cycle from delivery to garment presentation is according to standards.
  • Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  • Ensure correct routines in fitting room and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges.
  • Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly.
  • Uphold best practices for in-store OMNI Services & in-store tech services/tools.
  • Support with opening and closing of the store.
