The Business Development Officer will assist business owners in achieving their financial goals, develop new relationships, provide superior service and support, establish strong connections, network with businesses and centers of influence, and think strategically and creatively. Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include: Build Relationships & Network: Boost deposits and non-interest income by onboarding new business banking customers and nurturing strong relationships with existing ones. Conduct prospecting, lead development, and cross-selling activities for a wide range of Business Banking accounts and services. Actively refer customers for consumer, mortgage, business, and commercial loans, as well Chelsea Groton Financial Services. Network with key Centers of Influence to generate referral opportunities. Educate & Collaborate: Leverage business services and financial expertise to educate business customers on our products and services, guiding them toward the best solutions for their goals. The ideal candidate should have strong business and financial acumen, analytical and decision-making skills, and excellent presentation abilities. Cash Management Solutions: Collaborate with businesses to evaluate sales and service opportunities, providing effective account structure and tailored cash management solutions.
