About The Position

Are you passionate about helping kids be their best selves? UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Cash Management/Reconciliation Analyst to support the office Remotely. Prior reconciliation experience with an accounting background is highly preferred Purpose: Independently assists management with problem resolution and reporting and provides complex accounting activities related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger. Addresses complex issues, troubleshoots and resolves problems, ability to train other areas and set up Upay accounts and functions as a lead to other members on the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or other business-related field and 2 years' experience in this field.
High school graduate or equivalent and 3 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, Business or another business-related field.
2 years of Business, Financial, or Accounts Receivable experience required.
Act 34 clearance with renewal required.

Nice To Haves

HealthCare, Accounting and/or Reconciliation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Reconcile high‑volume cash clearing and refund clearing general ledger accounts.
Maintain Cash Tracking updates, including new bank accounts and journal details.
Support onboarding of newly acquired offices, including UPAY setup and banking changes.
Balance bank files with Cash Tracking entries.
Troubleshoot automated process issues and work with IT to resolve system errors.
Test updates and enhancements in UPAY, Cash Tracking, ReconNet, and billing systems.
Set up new UPAY accounts and request new merchant numbers for credit card processing.
Monitor internal controls and provide guidance to team members.
Work with other accounting groups to resolve complex reconciliation issues.
Ensure reconciling items are cleared within required policy timelines.
Recommend improvements to reconciliation and automation processes.
Serve as a lead resource and support for co‑workers.
