THE OPPORTUNITY As a Cash Handling Intern, you will support the team in protecting company assets by assisting with cash-related investigations and helping ensure restaurant cash controls are followed. You may partner with Accounting, Operations/field teams, and Asset Protection to resolve issues found in investigations and reinforce strong cash-handling practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS from a four-year college or university (preferred).
• Basic data skills in Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Solid organization and prioritization across multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
• Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Review POS data to spot potentially risky transactions; gather evidence, document findings, and summarize results to support further investigation when needed.
• Communicate concise findings to internal partners, help influence decisions and support timely follow-up on corrective actions and accountability.
