About The Position

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Cash Applications Clerk. Our client located in Rosemont, IL is looking for a Cash Applications Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will be fully onsite at our client's office in Rosemont.

Requirements

• Cash App experience for a large organization
• Experience with Deduction recording
• Experience working with large ERP system
• JD Edwards Enterprise 1 would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and apply incoming customer payments to their respective invoices
• Ensure cash application and discrepancy investigation is done on a timely basis
• Extract remittance back-up from customer portals
• Reconcile and balance bank deposits (daily/weekly)
• Complete adjustment & netting requests
• Create deductions based on payment received
• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure customer accounts are up to date
• Respond to service support requests/inquires
• Organize, and maintain appropriate files and document
