About The Position

Dauphin County Children & Youth Services is currently accepting applications for a full-time position of Casework Supervisor. The person in this position supervises the provision of casework and case management by a group of professional caseworkers providing services in a public child welfare agency. The person oversees and coordinates the daily activities and scheduling of the team to ensure adequate case and emergency coverage and optimal use of available resources.

Requirements

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work
• Bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences
• Valid driver’s license and positive driving record at the time of hire
• Favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances at the time of hire
• Favorable references at the time of hire
• Proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license within 60 days from the date of hire (or alternative form of identification if not eligible for a PA driver's license and driving is not an essential function)
