About The Position

Supplying cases to the filling operation Operating depalletizing and case washing equipment Operating a forklift Unloading trailers Maintaining a clean, organized work area Cleaning floors, walls, drains, conveyors, floor scrubbers, case washer, depalletizer and palletizers Using sanitation chemicals, floor scrubbers, foaming stations, hoses, brushes and mops to clean Assist with training of new associates at the discretion of leadership may also be required and Other duties as assigned Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to lift 40+ pounds repetitively Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision Must be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift Must be able to operate a riding and a walk behind floor scrubber Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time Must have excellent safety work habits Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas Must have good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player) Must possess basic math skills Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours Must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work and A commitment to Publix and our mission

Requirements
