Job Summary Better Being is looking for a Case Packer to assemble pre-packs, displays, and other objects. The Case Packer will report to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons
  • Assembles pre-packs, displays, and other objects, completing work orders
  • May operate lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area
  • Stores shipments in bins, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information.
  • May mark identifying codes using labeling equipment.
  • May move or transport material or supplies to other departments, using hand or industrial truck
  • May also keep records on number of items or cartons received.
  • Support of and involvement in company, departments, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
  • Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.
