About The Position

The Case Manager performs a variety of administrative duties associated with the Autism treatment process and serves as the coordinative link between operational personnel, Behavior Technicians (BTs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), clients and their families, and other caregivers or stakeholders. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with regulatory and corporate policies while supporting children and adolescents receiving Autism services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or families
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and analyze treatment plans and document case information accurately
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Previous case management experience
  • Experience working in Autism services or behavioral health settings

Responsibilities

  • Assign and schedule Behavior Technician (BT) staff to maximize service delivery based on client needs
  • Monitor productivity and utilization of assigned units and adjust staffing as needed to ensure coverage
  • Maintain a roster of substitute BT staff and assign them as needed
  • Monitor BT staff performance to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and care standards
  • Process required documentation for client enrollment in Autism services
  • Maintain accurate case management files and documentation for client service issues
  • Provide clear and accurate information to clients and families regarding Autism services
  • Maintain tracking systems for client authorizations, including start/end dates, review dates, and service units
  • Ensure supervisory staff are informed of upcoming reauthorizations
  • Obtain and distribute updated information from payers to appropriate staff
  • Assist in gathering information for compliance reviews and audits
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Provide the highest level of customer care
  • Support collaboration among staff, clients, and families
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of client information
  • Promote a team-oriented environment focused on achieving client outcomes
  • Utilize best practices to support service delivery and compliance
