TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents, providing opportunities for service enhancement and quality of care improvement. Requirements

  • At least three (3) years previous clinical and/or case management/utilization management experience
  • Valid, current RN state license
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse license for the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation or upon transfer prior to working in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills necessary to gather and exchange data, both internally and externally) with key medical professionals, patients and patient family members
  • Able to effectively utilize critical thinking and problem resolution skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with key community stakeholders in order to appropriately assist patients

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Experience preferably in a high volume acute care hospital/healthcare facility

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with patients, patient family members, physicians and other healthcare professionals to design, implement, and evaluate plans of care specific to each patient's needs, maintaining high quality, cost effective patient care
