Position Summary: This Case Manager Registered Nurse/Behavioral Health Clinician position is with Aetna’s Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) team and is a field-based position out of The requirements is for candidates to hold an VA Registered Nurse and travel up to 75% of the time to meet with members face to face. RN/BH Licensed Case Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating all case management activities with members to evaluate the medical needs of the member to facilitate the member’s overall wellness. Develops a proactive course of action to address issues presented to enhance the short and long- term outcomes as well as opportunities to enhance a member’s overall wellness through integration. Services strategies policies and programs are comprised of network management and clinical coverage policies. Work Location: This is a work at home/field based role. Typical office working environment with productivity and quality expectations Work requires the ability to perform close inspection of hand written and computer generated documents as well as a PC monitor. Sedentary work involving periods of sitting, talking, listening. Work requires sitting for extended periods, talking on the telephone and typing on the computer. Candidate will work from home (WAH) out of their residence in VA. Have reliable phone and hard-wired internet service. Work schedules are determined by the Leader based on business needs and are not affected by the work model or location. Mon-Fri 8-5 Colleagues must be reachable via phone, videoconference, and email during work hours (8 Hours per Day) as directed by their Leader. Personal responsibilities, including dependent care, must not interfere with work duties. Dependent care during work hours is generally not allowed. A field-based Colleague regularly works in multiple company locations. Those locations may include company locations, client locations, facilities (nursing home, rehabilitation centers, etc.), member homes, and/or community locations.

Requirements

  • RN/BH with current unrestricted Virginia state licensure required.
  • 3+ years clinical experience (med-surg, behavioral health).
  • Must reside in Aylett, King and Queen, or King William County Virginia.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 50-75% of the time. Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.
  • Virginia Driver's License required.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing Required.
  • Registered Nurse License in State of VA in good standing.
  • Proficient in Multisystem Navigation: Comfortable using multiple monitors and systems simultaneously to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Effective Multitasker: Skilled at talking and typing concurrently while managing various responsibilities with focus and accuracy.
  • Basic Technical Troubleshooting: Able to set up and connect essential hardware (monitors, keyboards, etc.) and resolve common technical issues independently.
  • Digital Collaboration & Documentation: Experienced in electronic documentation and virtual collaboration tools to support remote teamwork and communication.
  • Highly Organized & Results-Oriented: Maintains a structured approach to work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in alignment with performance metrics.
  • Metric-Driven Performance: Demonstrates accountability by consistently meeting or exceeding established goals and expectations.
  • Clean & Efficient Workspace Management: Keeps workspaces tidy and organized to support productivity and comply with professional standards.

  • Bachelor's of Science and Nursing Preferred.
  • Independent Behavioral Health License in the state of VA in good standing.
