  • Provide case management, mental health services, and crisis intervention for adults living with severe mental illness.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Contribute to the development of individual treatment and behavior plans in team meetings.
  • Support the development and attainment of client rehabilitation goals, including securing housing and employment.
  • Assist with maintenance of personal health, including medical, psychiatric, and dental care.
  • Develop and maintain a respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationship with all individuals served.
  • Evaluate the need for entitlement benefits and assist in obtaining them.
  • Maintain a client caseload as assigned.
  • Document treatment planning and interventions according to agency, county, and Medi-Cal billing requirements.
  • Coordinate client treatment with all other members of the treatment team.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other assigned meetings.
  • Attend and complete trainings as assigned.
  • Drive own or agency vehicle to treatment destinations as required.
  • Promote a safe, healthy, and clean working environment.
  • Complete and submit accurate time sheets and absence reports.
  • Promote the philosophy and practice of social rehabilitation.
  • Nurture and advance a cooperative, harmonious, and teamwork-oriented environment.
  • Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
  • Must be passionate about Caminar's mission.
  • MA/MS in mental health/social work-related field (preferred, not required).
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Experience with Human Service Information Systems is strongly preferred.
  • Problem solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Customer service skills to manage difficult situations and respond to needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Planning and organizing skills to prioritize and plan work activities.
