Provide case management, mental health services, and crisis intervention for adults living with severe mental illness.
Facilitate psychoeducational groups utilizing evidence-based practices.
Contribute to the development of individual treatment and behavior plans in team meetings.
Support the development and attainment of client rehabilitation goals, including securing housing and employment.
Assist with maintenance of personal health, including medical, psychiatric, and dental care.
Develop and maintain a respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationship with all individuals served.
Evaluate the need for entitlement benefits and assist in obtaining them.
Maintain a client caseload as assigned.
Document treatment planning and interventions according to agency, county, and Medi-Cal billing requirements.
Coordinate client treatment with all other members of the treatment team.
Participate in staff meetings and attend other assigned meetings.
Attend and complete trainings as assigned.
Drive own or agency vehicle to treatment destinations as required.
Promote a safe, healthy, and clean working environment.
Complete and submit accurate time sheets and absence reports.
Promote the philosophy and practice of social rehabilitation.
Nurture and advance a cooperative, harmonious, and teamwork-oriented environment.
Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Must be passionate about Caminar's mission.
MA/MS in mental health/social work-related field (preferred, not required).
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Experience with Human Service Information Systems is strongly preferred.
Problem solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Customer service skills to manage difficult situations and respond to needs.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Planning and organizing skills to prioritize and plan work activities.
