About The Position

The Case Sealer position at Monogram Foods involves completing the loading of finished products from machines onto pallets. This role requires setting up equipment for starts and changes, replenishing packaging supplies, and ensuring the correct operation of machinery. The position is full-time and operates on the 2nd shift. Employees will receive full benefits after 30 days and will start earning vacation with their first paycheck. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old to work for Monogram Foods
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Must be Pallet jack certified

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for starts up and changes over
• Replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels
• Position and hold container in machine, press button, or move lever to clean, glue, label or tape container
• Monitor waste reductions
• Ensure correct date codes, labels, master cases being used
• Ensure all paperwork is done correctly such as Case Sealer report, pallet tickets, pallet patterns and case counts
• Adjust equipment for efficient operations
• Record data for downtime & quality assurance
• Complete preventive maintenance as needed
• Ensure all safety devices are operable and being used
• Work with enthusiasm and sense of urgency daily
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
• Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided
• Follow all plant food safety and personal safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties as required or directed
