Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. Position Summary The Case Clerk will provide organizational and practice-specific assistance to attorneys and paralegals in the Litigation Department in preparing cases from onset through post-trial, including trial preparations. Qualified candidates must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities and work in an organized, efficient manner. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively

  • Provides outstanding client service, meets high quality standards for services and meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes, including Litigation-specific software
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent prior work experience in a professional services environment is required
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic document management systems; experience using iManage or Filesite a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists department attorneys and paralegals with document collection, form preparation, and administrative tasks
  • Maintains and organizes client files and electronic databases
  • Partners with attorneys on various dedicated projects
  • Performs additional administrative tasks for department
  • Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
