Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to our Assistant Director of Products Liability Position Summary The Products Liability Case Clerk position s upports the assigned Paralegal and practice group with general administrative duties and special projects.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates attention to detail with ownership of deliverable work product.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Ability to be flexible to work overtime on an as-needed basis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative experience in professional legal environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution preferred .
  • Proficiency with Access preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize electronic files in HighQ.
  • Convert hard copy documents to electronic documents.
  • Retrieve vendor records; circulate to team; update electronic litigation files.
  • Assemble trial notebooks at direction of paralegals (electronic and hard copy).
  • Organize exhibits at direction of paralegals.
  • Monitor court dockets; retrieval of pleadings; circulate to team; update electronic litigation files.
  • Research witnesses and compile results; coordinate with third party vendors as needed.
  • Update logs/indices and tracking charts.
  • Maintain work areas in a presentable and efficient manner to optimize performance.
  • Perform duties related to other special projects as required.
