About The Position

The Case Aide position at Morrison Child and Family Services is a vital role within the organization, focusing on providing support to the Case Management team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families, particularly those from immigrant backgrounds. The Case Aide will work closely with the Case Management team to facilitate the completion and follow-up of referrals made for clients, ensuring that they receive the necessary resources and support. The role requires effective communication with sponsors and minors to provide information about available resources and assist them with referrals and follow-ups. In this position, the Case Aide will be responsible for researching community resources, screening and identifying organizations that serve immigrant youth, and ensuring comprehensive documentation of all communication and support services provided to clients. The Case Aide will collaborate with the Case Management team and the Resources Coordinator to ensure that services provided to immigrant youth align with the expectations, policies, and procedures set forth by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). This includes assisting clients in accessing culturally relevant community services, providing referrals, and helping with the completion of applications and referral forms. The Case Aide will also assist with the creation, filing, closing, and overall daily maintenance of client records. They will support case managers and case workers in making referrals for clients and may need to adjust their work hours to meet the program's needs. Additionally, the Case Aide will be responsible for identifying appropriate community resources, ensuring they are culturally and linguistically appropriate, and may need to send mail, email, and schedule appointments for families on behalf of the Case Manager. The role also includes completing Mandated Reporter responsibilities in accordance with local state requirements when there is knowledge or suspicion that a child's safety may be at risk. Overall, the Case Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the case management process and ensuring that clients receive the necessary assistance and resources.
