About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Aftermarket Supervisor II to lead our team as we support our customers with repair, modification, and return of flight ready hardware. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of assemblers, inspectors, and material handlers, ensuring efficient production, high-quality products, and excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: ability to comprehend complex builds, BOMs, and procedures necessary to build flight control hardware.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with team members, management, and customers.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Certifications: AS9100 or ISO
  • Aerospace or Defense Experience: Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Training and Development: Experience with training program development and implementation.
  • Certifications: 9001 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of assemblers, inspectors, and material handlers to ensure efficient production, quality products, and excellent customer service.
  • Training and Development: Develop, implement, and manage training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Quality Control: Provide feedback on quality, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload, distribute manpower, and prioritize tasks to optimize efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new team members.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and monitor results to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
