About The Position

As a Cart Runner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service while contributing to a friendly and inviting shopping experience.

Requirements

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment to perform the job efficiently.
• Product Integrity: Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each customer (we call them guests) receives exceptional service in a friendly environment.
• Be friendly, courteous, and cooperative while effectively communicating with associates and customers.
• Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.
• Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.
• Share customer requests with management to enhance the shopping experience and feel empowered to resolve issues proactively as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned, including supporting superior customer service initiatives.
• Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
