About The Position

The Cart/Range/Bag Attendant at La Mirada Golf Course is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while maintaining the quality of daily golf operations. This part-time role involves managing golf carts, ensuring the range is well-maintained, and addressing customer needs to enhance the overall golfing experience.

Requirements

• Ability to operate golf carts, golf ball picker, ball washer, ball dispenser, pressure washer, and golf cart jack.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all members and guests, providing instruction on proper cart handling and loading of clubs onto golf carts as needed.
• Maintain the golf cart fleet by washing or detailing the carts daily, stocking cart amenities, removing trash, ensuring proper fuel or power, inspecting for mechanical problems, counting and securing carts at closing, and reporting issues to a supervisor.
• Maintain the range by ensuring an adequate level of range balls, collecting and cleaning balls, rotating mats, ensuring proper lighting, maintaining clean water in club cleaners, and removing trash.
• Provide customer service by addressing member or guest concerns and directing them to a supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on carts and the range environment, including changing flat tires and filling water in coolers.
• Train other cart attendants as requested to ensure continuity of customer service.
• Implement and support all American Golf initiatives and programs as requested by management.
