Assists Supervisor in all phases of maintenance and repairs to carts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBattery service, tire service, electrical component service, golf car charger service and usageDrive, park and transport golf cars to specified areasClean, wash and maintain golf cars, car tops and seats and floorboardsPlug cars in to charger systemsReport any mechanical issues to supervisorReport to work on time and in uniformWork hours specified by supervisor including evening and weekend hoursQualificationsHigh school education or equivalent preferredEnglish speaking skills required to understand assignments and communicate with other associatesKnowledge of golf car operation and valid driver's license preferredMust have transportation to and from ClubKnowledge of electrical theory and battery performance levelsDiagnose mechanical failures and repair all golf carts according to manuals.Ensure all safety procedures are implemented.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 60 poundsMust be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periodsWork EnvironmentJob requires both indoor and outdoor workExposure to odors and noises from surrounding facilitiesExposure to heat, cold, wet and dry conditionsExposure to battery acid, and other hazardous materialsExposure to electrical outlets, chargers and battery packsExposure to moving equipment, golf cars in motion around work areaThis job description is intended to accurately reflect the conditions that accompany this position.
