About The Position

The Cart Make-Up worker is responsible for preparing carts for shipment to customer locations. Cart Make-Up staff work as a team, with each member taking roles such as manually packing carts, ensuring all orders are filled, and loading carts onto delivery trucks Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: This position will work within a team of people performing similar duties. Along with one or more team members, a Century Linen Cart Make-Up worker may perform some or all of the following duties during a given shift: Check packing orders Line carts with plastic Retrieve cleaned/dried linens which have been bundled and load them into carts Weigh carts and enter weight into a computer Load carts onto delivery truck using a lift Perform other tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

Reading and writing comprehension, computer and math skills typically associated with a high school level education
Quality orientation and high attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members
Open to and able to work day or night shifts, and willing to rotate shifts depending on production needs
Open to long hours and working weekends (Sat/Sun)
Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting 50 lbs. or more and stooping.
Physical Demands consist of the ability to move rolling carts of varying weights – up to and exceeding approximately 250lbs.
