About The Position

The mission of Lake Junaluska is to be a place of Christian hospitality where lives are transformed through renewal of soul, mind and body. This seasonal, part-time Cart Attendant position is responsible for maintaining golf carts and the surrounding areas, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and ready for daily operation, while fostering an attitude of Christian hospitality to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to safely operate golf carts.
• Must have good communication skills, and a commitment to providing responsive and conscientious customer service.
• Able to prioritize tasks and allocate time efficiently.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs, multiple task demands, and work structures.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Must possess excellent hospitality skills and a strong desire to foster an attitude of Christian hospitality to “exceed guest expectations”
• Responsible for cleaning, parking, filling carts with gas, and preparing golf carts for daily operation.
• Maintain clean and neat surroundings of the parking lot, cart staging area, bag drop area, and cart storage area.
• Take out trash as needed.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and report any unsafe activities or conditions immediately to supervisor or the Human Resources department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required.
