As a Cart Attendant at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both members and team members. This part-time position requires you to work between 20-27 hours per week, primarily on weekends, with shifts scheduled from 4:15 PM to 9:15 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Your primary responsibilities will include performing general maintenance and cleaning duties, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation throughout the club, and gathering and returning carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance to facilitate easy access for our members. In this role, you will be expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, supporting the application of club policies and procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the club, including the sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor grounds. Additionally, you will verify that all carts are in working order and clean, remove trash and debris from the parking lot, and perform maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. You will also operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, restock maintenance supplies, and perform minor building repairs as needed. Regular attendance is crucial for this position, and you may be required to work in other departments as needed.
